The Art Project concept

Food sustainability is our mission. And at the heart of that mission stands a tree — the Tree of New America. The Tree of New America started out as a multicultural film art project that soon found it's voice as an advocate for food sustainability. This IP is what makes the Tree of New America different. The tree which is the symbol of our cause, combines the beauty of mother nature with emerging technologies. It's intent is to promote coexistence while celebrating food sustainability initiatives nationally. It's journey has been driven by the multicultural melting pot of founders and volunteers that governs its mission. The Tree of New America is helmed by the many united colors of folk who are working together here in America to promote how food sustainability can solve food insecurity.
The Tree of New America is a Living Nexus of Food Access and Food Sustainability:Envision a sculpture of a tree that stands 20 feet tall made from wood collected from every state. Envision atop this tree, instead of leafs, a canopy of light that interacts harmoniously with its environment as it conversates and dances with sound. The Tree of New America is this vibrant nexus where technology and the natural splendor of mother nature converge to demonstrate coexistence. The AI-powered, self-learning LED canopy, a luminous crown of foliage, isn't just a spectacle; it's a testament to harmony. Witness its responsive light patterns, adapting to the rhythms of the environment, a visual orchestration demonstrating the interconnectedness of thriving ecosystems while promoting food sustainability. Participate in Our Nationwide Movement, State by State: As we incorporate symbolic state-specific wooden elements into the body of the Tree of New America, our local food access initiatives will galvanize each state's commitment to a hunger-free, eco-conscious future. Not only are we delivering sustenance; we're cultivating legacies with our partners. Together we launch Mobile-PopUp food pantrie events and TableTop-PopUp cooking events. Together we celebrate our accomplishments through the tree. Public celebrations are not only events; they're instruments of change, fueling support for our vital programs.

The Art Project roots & proof of concept

Food sustainability is our mission. And at the heart of that mission stands a tree — the Tree of New America. When the Tree of New America was conceptualized as a film arts project, original founder Harold Arscott envisioned that it would be a symbol meant to celebrate both American cultural efforts centered around food sustainability, as well as it's partners achievements and involvement. Harold created this simple video to illustrate his original thought on what the Tree of New America could be.
